BOMA Wins Honors From Parent Group

The Building Owners & Managers Assn. of Greater Los Angeles has been named “Association of the Year” by BOMA International.
In the past three years, BOMA Los Angeles, currently headed by George A. Julin and representing more than 900 office building professionals in the greater Los Angeles area, has expanded its membership base by 18% and its visibility.
The association has introduced a Los Angeles Office Market Journal, a full seminar series and an accelerated college-level office management curriculum through the Building Owners & Managers Institute’s Real Property Administrator program.
BOMA also named five commercial office buildings in the “Office Building of the Year” category, which included Filbert Landing, San Francisco; the Humana Building, Louisville, Ky.; Rockefeller Center, New York; Sinclair Centre, Vancouver, Canada, and Two Mellon Bank Center in Pittsburgh, Pa.
