A 30-year-old Contra Costa County man was in stable condition at a South Lake Tahoe hospital after he was found by a hiker and his dog on a ledge in the rugged Desolation Wilderness. Authorities said Dale Franklin Watson had a broken pelvis and numerous bruises and was suffering from dehydration and fatigue. The hiker and his dog were coming down a trail out of the wilderness area when the dog led the hiker to Watson, who had been missing since last Tuesday.
