Brea-Olinda 40, Savanna 7--Chad Marlow threw for 2 touchdowns and ran for another to lead the Wildcats at Glover Stadium in Anaheim.
Marlow, who completed 8 of 14 passes for 134 yards, ran 29 yards for a touchdown late in the third quarter and threw a 16-yard fourth-quarter scoring pass to David Dittman as Brea-Olinda (2-7, 1-3) put the game out of reach with 33 second-half points.
Brea-Olinda took a 7-0 lead with 3 minutes gone in the contest on Marlow’s 39-yard touchdown pass to Eddie Stewart.
The Wildcats extended their lead to 14-0 when Marc Shaw returned an intercepted pass 31 yards for a touchdown 2 minutes into the third quarter.
Five minutes later, Marlow got his 29-yard touchdown run.
Jason Miller closed out the Wildcats’ third-quarter scoring with 1 minute left on a 5-yard run. He added a 7-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
Savanna (1-8, 0-4) got its only score with 3 minutes left in the game on Carlos Robledo’s 54-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Ingram.
