West Hollywood : Art on Traffic-Signal Boxes
- Share via
Next spring, traffic-signal boxes on Fountain Avenue will be sprouting city-sponsored artwork. Up to $10,000 will be available for the project, made possible by the city’s Art in Public Places fund.
Artist Tad Myroskov, chosen by the Fine Arts Advisory Board in a public competition, will design and prepare the works for the city. His winning design showed a 5-foot bear perched atop a fancifully painted traffic-signal box.
