Grant 16, Poly 9--Junior Marlowe Lewis rushed for a game-high 61 yards, including a 38-yard touchdown, as the Lancers knocked off Poly at home.

Lewis made the scoring run in the second quarter to give Grant a 10-3 lead. Poly (2-8, 0-7) had a chance to tie the score late in the first half when quarterback Jason Kemp threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to Eddie Guerrero, but Shad Martinez missed the conversion. Shawn Booker scored from 1 yard for Grant (3-6, 2-5) in the final minute.
