HCC Industries Earns $64,000 in Second Quarter

HCC Industries said it earned $64,000, or 4 cents a share, for the second quarter that ended Oct. 1, contrasted with a loss of $528,000 in the same period a year earlier. Sales fell 9% to $6.2 million from $6.8 million.
The Encino company, which makes airtight-electronic connectors, attributed its lower revenue to the sale of several product lines earlier this year.
For the 6 months that ended Oct. 1, HCC earned $232,000, or 14 cents a share, contrasted with a loss of $493,000 in the same period a year ago. Sales fell 19% to $12.9 million from $15.9 million.
