Phony Vatican Guard Is Accused of Arson

ROME — A man who posed as one of the Pope’s Vatican security agents has been arrested on charges of setting fire to seven churches in Rome, police said Tuesday.
Police said that Ugo Ferrari, 48, had a history of mental illness and had been arrested in 1982 for impersonating a policeman.
