Huge Panels Used for Office Center

What reportedly was the raising of the largest concrete panels in Orange County, has taken place at Barranca Court, a $25-million office development of Hawthorne Development Co., at Barranca Parkway and Venture in the Irvine Spectrum.
The 72 panels, 56 feet in height and weighing as much as 70 tons each, were raised to form two office structures in which 125.2 tons of reinforcing steel per building will be used in the walls alone. Strock Architects of Newport Beach designed the buildings.
