Servite-Crespi Game Switched to Pierce

The site of the Southern Section Division I football playoff game between Crespi and Servite highs has been moved from Birmingham High to Pierce College. The second-round game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday.
The game, a rematch of a contest in the fourth week of the season won by Servite, 35-20, features 2 of Southern California’s best high school running backs. Derek Brown of Servite (9-2) has rushed for 1,985 yards, and All-American Russell White of Crespi (6-5), the state’s all-time rusher with 5,836 career yards, has gained 1,217 this season.
