Dayton Hudson Corp.: The Minneapolis-based department store owner said profit rose 36.6% to $183 million in its fourth quarter and 26% to $287 million for the entire year. Sales rose 11.4% to $4.1 billion for the quarter and 14% to $12.2 billion for the year. The company noted that growth exceeded its target.
