El Camino College’s hope for a second consecutive state basketball championship remained alive following a 71-56 victory Thursday night over Skyline at Santa Clara University.
The Warriors will play the No. 1 north seed, Chabot, in the semifinals at 8 tonight. Chabot beat Mt. San Jacinto, 95-73.
The championship game will be played at 8 p.m. Saturday. If El Camino wins tonight they play the winner of the Community College of San Francisco-Cerritos game.
