Countywide : Man’s Body Found in Santiago Canyon

The Sheriff’s Department reported late Wednesday that the body of a fully clothed man was discovered near Modjeska Canyon Road and Santiago Canyon Road in Santiago Canyon, and investigators were treating the case as a probable homicide.
A sheriff’s spokesman said there was “evidence of trauma” to the body. The name of the dead man was being withheld until his family could be notified.
Witnesses reported seeing nearly a dozen police vehicles around the scene late Wednesday night.
