Thomas H. Cruikshank, 57, has been named chairman and chief executive of Halliburton Co., an oil field services company with headquarters in Dallas. Dale P. Jones, 52, has been named president. Cruikshank has served as president and chief executive since 1983. Jones has been executive vice president. The position of chairman has been open since 1983.
