Stayrook Still in Lead at Bowling Tournament

Jess Stayrook of San Diego leads after Monday’s third round of the Professional Bowlers Assn. $150,000 Seattle Open.
Stayrook, 30, averaged 231.3 for 18 qualifying games (4,164 pins) to maintain a 111-pin lead over Joe Salvemini of Colorado Springs, Colo. (4,053).
Andy Neuer of Milton, Pa., is in third place (4,019), and three-time champion Mark Baker of Huntington Beach is fourth (3,963).
Stayrook has never won a PBA title, but has finished in the top five four times this year.
