I urge the presiding department of the San Diego Municipal Court to impose the maximum fines and maximum probation periods to the more than 200 people arrested as a result of the illegal blockading of medical centers. Operation Rescue terrorists must not be allowed to feel that their deliberate disregard for the law will be treated lightly.
These religious fanatics hope that by using religion as an excuse they can convince judges that they are above the law. Your duty is to uphold the law and not to let lawbreakers walk away with a slap on the wrist for willful trespassing, blockading, harassment of patients and staff, and other illegal activities.
