University City Rolls Over Serra

Jerome Price caught three passes for 136 yards and two touchdowns to lead University City to a 23-6 victory over Serra Saturday night.
Price caught scoring passes of 32 and 83 yards from Anthony Hill, and Kevin Hall kicked three field goals as University City took a 23-0 lead. Hill was eight for 19 for 228 yards. Robert Hamilton scored on a two-yard run for Serra.
Castle Park 26, Christian 0--David Fernandes rushed seven times for 121 yards and scored three touchdowns to lead Castle Park at Christian. Castle Park quarterback Ernesto Diaz completed six of 11 passes for 95 yards and a touchdown. Christian turned the ball over four times on fumbles.
Girls’ volleyball
Helix tournament--Karrie Downey had eight kills and Nicki Cando added seven to lead Helix over San Marcos, 15-8, 15-9 in the championship match. Downey was voted the tournament’s most valuable player.
