KIEV, U.S.S.R. — Troy Neel of El Campo, Tex., hit his second home run in as many games to lead a team of Eastern League All Stars to a 20-0 romp over the Soviet national team today.
The game, played before an enthusiastic crowd at Kiev’s central republic soccer stadium, was the second in a five-game, three-city tour of the Soviet Union by the World Baseball Assn.
Steve Scarsone of Anaheim, Calif., and Jeff Bannister of Dickinson, Tex. also homered for the American minor leaguers, who won the first game of the “diamond diplomacy” tour, 13-0 on Monday.
