Win Ends Choc Full of Zure’s Four-Game Skid

Choc Full Of Zure broke a four-race winless streak Tuesday night by winning a $7,000 allowance race at Los Alamitos Race Course.

The 3-year-old gelding defeated six other horses in the 870-yard race in 46.48 seconds for its second victory in eight starts this season. Because of fog covering much of the track, the horses could not be seen by many spectators until they reached the top of the stretch.

Choc Full Of Zure was coupled with Rebs Limit, who was second, and paid $4.80, $4.20 and $2.80. Especially Brewed was third and paid $7.80. Choc Full Of Zure is trained by H.J. Visscher and was ridden by leading jockey Kip Didericksen.
