FileNet Corp.: The Costa Mesa manufacturer of computerized document storage and retrieval systems lost $1.8 million in the third quarter, compared to a loss of $2.2 million for the comparable period a year earlier. Filenet said its revenue rose 48%, to $18.6 million, up from $12.6 million. For the nine-month period, FileNet had earnings of $205,000, down 73% from $750,000 during the year-ago period. Revenue was $56.5 million, up 26% from $44.8 million.
