Valley 85, Kings River 57--Sandrine Rocher had 25 points and 11 rebounds for Valley in the first round of the College of the Sequoias tournament.
Rocher, a freshman from North Hollywood High, was 10 of 16 from the field as Valley shot 42% (38 of 90).
Moorpark 65, MiraCosta 53--Angie Long had 16 points and 14 rebounds to lead Moorpark (5-1) in the first round of the Cypress tournament.
