Miami — Tropical Storm Karen weakened Friday morning as it slowly wandered the open waters of the Caribbean, still bringing some rain to Cuba but posing no severe threat, forecasters said.
Karen, which dumped more than 14 inches of rain on Cuba, was expected to stall at sea or make a loop and decrease in strength over the next few days, said Miles Lawrence, a forecaster at the National Hurricane Center in Miami.
