Swiss Hoping Buyers Will Go Cuckoo Over Watch

LAUSANNE, Switzerland — Swiss watchmakers, who make timepieces out of everything from gold to plastic, now want everyone to wear a cuckoo on their wrists.

The Swiss cuckoo watch, complete with alpine chalet and pine cones, will make its debut soon, the newspaper 24 Heures reported. Unlike the traditional cuckoo clock, the bird will not pop out and sing the hours but will instead move each second.
