Boeing Delivers Last Planes of Decade: Boeing Commercial Airplanes delivered its final plane of the decade last week--a 747-400 to Lufthansa German Airlines. The plane was turned over to Lufthansa officials at Boeing’s Everett, Wash., facility, a company spokesman said. Earlier in the day, USAir received a 737-400, which Boeing said was its last domestic airline delivery of the 1980s. Boeing said it delivered 2,370 airplanes during the decade, including 283 this year.
