PREP SOCCER ROUNDUP : Orange Defeats Santa Ana Valley

Justin Zayas and Robert Rodriguez scored first-half goals for Orange High School in a 2-0 victory over Santa Ana Valley in a Century League boys’ soccer game Monday at Santa Ana Valley.
Goalkeeper Eric James had five saves for Orange (9-2-1, 2-0 in league), and Jose Cuesta had eight for Santa Ana Valley (1-8-1, 0-2).
In the Empire League:
Katella 2, Los Alamitos 1--Art Vance scored with nine minutes left to break a 1-1 tie at Los Alamitos. Armando Orizaba scored with six minutes left in the first half to give Katella (11-2-2, 2-0-1) a 1-0 lead.
In the Pacific Coast League:
Costa Mesa 1, Trabuco Hills 0--James Rodriguez scored in the second half for host Costa Mesa (8-2-1, 2-0). Phil Chezek had 15 saves for Costa Mesa.
