Magic Johnson, who left Sunday’s Laker-Chicago Bull game after being knocked unconscious, was released Monday morning from Centinela Hospital Medical Center and cleared to rejoin the team.
Stephen Lombardo, the Lakers’ doctor, said all tests were negative.
Johnson suffered a slight concussion when he fell to the floor and was inadvertently kicked in the head by Horace Grant.
Johnson is expected to play against the Clippers tonight at the Forum.
