NASHVILLE, Tenn. — y Arnold has resumed his singing career after double heart bypass surgery last year and says he takes better care of himself now.
“I’ve been a good patient,” the 72-year-old country-pop singer said Monday. “I leave off the fat meat and all that gravy. I eat a lot of fruit and vegetables and I walk every day that I can.”
Arnold said the surgery last March “scared the heck out of me.”
Hit records during his 45-year career include “Make the World Go Away,” “Anytime” and “Bouquet of Roses.”
