Support for Arts

The event called Kaleidoscope ’91 sponsored by the Glendale Regional Arts Council did not learn anything from the past two disasters in 1989 and 1990, or from the constructive criticism that this artist made in 1990.
This year, Kaleidoscope will have a juried weekend festival and charge $35, and a juried competition and charge $35. Artists, amateur or professional, will be out $70 if not selected. I do not have $70 or $35 to feed the coffers of GRAC for this event.
Beverly Hills Art Affaire in the Garden charges $140 and refunds $130 if the artist is not selected.
This artist has worked for 20 years, has a master’s degree in art and spent seven years as a captain in the U. S. Army Reserve as a logistician. My support for the arts in Glendale is and will remain a fact.
