A comment on KCAL Channel 9’s airing of the International Auto Show (Jan. 27): Ridiculously inflated hype consisting of fast camera pans of fenders and hood ornaments; neon logos, gleaming pillars and sequined crowd. Showcasing what? . . . Lots of teeth. The autos should have had the spotlight.
