Polaroid, Kodak to Appeal Suit Damages: The two firms indicated that they will appeal a landmark damages award in which Kodak was found liable for infringing on Polaroid’s patent for instant photography. Kodak, based in Rochester, N.Y., contended that it should pay only $177 million.
