American Ecology Corp. Profit Increases by 66%

American Ecology Corp., an Agoura Hills waste management company, said its net income for the three months ended Dec. 31 jumped 66% to $1.85 million from $1.11 million a year earlier. American Ecology’s revenue increased 4% to $14.5 million for the period from $13.9 million a year before.
For 1990, American Ecology reported a profit of $3.77 million, compared to a loss of $3.17 million in 1989. American Ecology’s revenue climbed 8% in 1990 to $48.7 million from $45.3 million in 1989.
