Police arrested a transient late Sunday in connection with the stabbing death of a 66-year-old man.
Everado Herrera Camacho, 34, is being held without bail at County Jail on suspicion of murder.
Camacho had been involved in a disturbance Sunday afternoon at the Coast Hotel, in the 500 block of 7th Avenue, police spokesman Bill Robinson said.
The victim, identified as Seymour Lash, was a hotel resident and had been escorting Camacho out of the hotel.
