GOLETA — William Benjamin made four free throws in the final minute to give No. 12 New Mexico State a 67-64 victory over UC Santa Barbara Monday night in a Big West Conference game.
It was the seventh victory in a row for New Mexico State (18-2, 10-1 Big West) against Santa Barbara (10-11, 5-7).
