A man and woman were found shot to death Wednesday in a car parked in the underground garage of their security apartment building in Los Feliz, police said. Another resident of the Los Feliz Club Apartments at 1800 N. New Hampshire Ave. found the bodies about 3 a.m. while walking through the garage.
Los Angeles Police Detective Ron Whitt said that each victim had been shot a number of times in the head and upper body. Although the identities of the victims have not been released, Whitt said they were Taiwanese and the case has been turned over to LAPD’s Asian crime investigation department.
The victims lived together in the new four-story apartment complex located a half-block south of Franklin Avenue. Police said there was no evidence that the security gate to the building’s garage had been broken into. There are no suspects and no apparent motive, Whitt said.
