Voters Should Pick Burbank’s Priorities
In the Burbank City Council and school board election campaign there has been no discussion of priorities and facilities.
The city just built a multimillion-dollar animal shelter and is pushing for new police and fire headquarters.
These will replace buildings that are as new as the newest Burbank schools.
While the school begs for paint and volunteer painters, the city calls for more tax money.
The money for city and school facilities all comes out of the same pockets.
Let the taxpayers decide the priorities on one ballot.
