The BICYCLE IS STAGING A BIG COMEBACK--with big prices--in the embattled Iraqi capital, where authorities have suspended sales of gasoline. An Iraqi-made bicycle is now selling for the equivalent of $800 in private stores. Foreign makes go for about $1,440. At state-owned shops, an Iraqi bicycle costs $224, and authorities have made special efforts to ensure that spare parts are available.
