Jackie Dashiell, 60, women’s editor, lifestyle editor and public affairs editor of the old Los Angeles Herald Examiner during the 1970s and ‘80s. She came to the Herald Examiner after two decades of reporting for suburban papers in the Los Angeles area, and over the years interviewed political leaders and entertainment personalities around the world. On Thursday of a stroke at her Studio City home.
