Police are seeking the public’s help in a murder investigation involving a 34-year-old Inglewood man found dead last week in the back seat of his car in Baldwin Park.
On March 7, residents reported a man lying in a parked car in the 4300 block of Center Street. Police found the body of Miguel Lugo, who had been shot in the head, Lt. Mike Bennett said. Relatives said Lugo had left home early March 3 but they did not know where he was going. Witnesses who said they saw the parked 1974 Ford Gran Torino that day thought it was vacant.
Anyone with information in the case should call Baldwin Park police at (818) 813-5229 or the Sheriff’s Homicide Department at (213) 947-4341.
