LATC Development: Morgan Jenness, associate director for new play development at Los Angeles Theatre Center, is resigning April 19, citing “health and personal reasons.” Binnur Karaevli, LATC literary manager, who dropped to part-time March 30, also will be leaving, although she will continue to work with “The Platform,” LATC’s new political cabaret project. Jenness, who worked for Joseph Papp’s Public Theater in New York and the New York Theatre Workshop prior to coming to LATC last August, plans to “continue to work in theater as a free-lance dramaturg and director.”
