AIDS Program Met With Displeasure

I’m sad to have to write this letter. Our local Catholic elementary school has just instituted a sex-AIDS education program mandated by Archbishop Roger Mahony.
Over the years, I have heard about such programs in other Catholic schools. I have always felt so fortunate that our children were not exposed to this type of program. But it’s now here in all its graphic detail.
We already have to protect our children from the dirt in the movies, TV and music today. It is a very sad day when parents have to feel the need to protect their children from the local Catholic school.
