Fountain Valley’s Fahs Signs to Play for Titans

Derek Fahs of Fountain Valley High School has signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Cal State Fullerton, Frank Fahs, his father, said Wednesday.

Fahs, a right-handed pitcher, is considered one of the top high school pitchers in Orange County. He is 8-2 with an 0.91 earned-run average and 77 strikeouts this season.

Fahs was also recruited by Cal State Long Beach.
