OXNARD : Raiders to Hit the Turf This Summer

The Los Angeles Raiders will spend their fifth summer in Oxnard this July, feasting for 40 days on pasta and other training foods prepared at the Radisson Suite Hotel.
From early July through mid-August, the football team trains on city-leased football fields adjoining the hotel.
About 90 players and about 35 trainers, coaches and executives will occupy a third of the hotel’s suites, eating three meals a day in a special dining room, said Robert Burk, a spokesman for the hotel.
