It’s about time someone spoke up about the stifling atmosphere of political correctness (PC) that pervades the literary community in this country.
This result of deconstructionism misapplied to creative work is probably what produces the sort of vacuous self-absorbed pabulum that appears in the New Yorker almost every week . . .
The PC thought police are clearly a much greater threat to writers right now than the Christo-fascist thought police.
