VENTURA : Schools Chief Invites Public to Discussion

The superintendent of the Ventura Unified School District will answer questions and accept suggestions from area residents tonight at Blanche Reynolds Elementary School.
Cesare Caldarelli Jr. will hold his second round-table discussion at 7 p.m.
In December, only about 25 local parents and residents joined him to discuss the district’s curriculum, among other concerns, Caldarelli said. He said he hopes tonight’s turnout will be closer to 75 people.
“These afford an opportunity for parents to make comments and ask questions directly, and an opportunity for me to interact,” he said.
