* Steven Frieson has been appointed manager of transportation engineering services for Church Engineering, Irvine. Prior to his appointment, Frieson was senior section design manager for the Corridor Design Management Group, a consortium of engineering firms doing design management for three new toll roads in the county. Before joining Church Engineering, he worked with Metcalf & Eddy Inc. and Caltrans.
