Foothill Bus Service Begins

Foothill Transit has launched a weekday Claremont-to-Pasadena commuter bus with additional stops in La Verne, San Dimas, Glendora, Azusa and Monrovia.
Rides are free this week. The regular one-way fare is $2.25, and a monthly pass costs $80.
In the morning, buses leave Claremont every 15 minutes, from 5:36 to 7:56 a.m. In the afternoon, the first bus leaves Pasadena at 3:35 p.m. and the last one departs at 6:20 p.m.
The bus stops at Colby Circle Drive and Indian Hill Boulevard, Claremont; Foothill Boulevard and White Avenue, La Verne; the Lone Hill Park-N-Ride and the Grand Avenue Park-N-Ride, Glendora; Azusa Avenue and 1st Street, Azusa, and the Monrovia Park-N-Ride, Myrtle and Pomona avenues.
The first stop in Pasadena is at Lake Avenue and Union Street, and the last is at Fair Oaks Avenue and Walnut Street, with additional stops between.
