SANTA ANA : Ground Broken for Addition to College
- Share via
Rancho Santiago College Chancellor Robert D. Jensen and Board of Trustees President Shirley Ralston presided over a groundbreaking ceremony Thursday for a seven-room complex at the college’s Centennial Education Center.
The complex at 2900 W. Edinger St. is where the college holds many classes in its continuing education division, one of its fastest-growing. There are more than 15,000 students enrolled in the non-credit classes, which include high school subjects, adult basic education, English as a second language and business courses.
The seven-room complex is scheduled to open by next spring. The new classrooms and additional office space will enable the college to serve 1,500 more students at Centennial each semester.
