Royal Records Sweep in Volleyball Match

Kevin Hambly had 20 kills and setter Travis Ferguson added 43 assists as Royal High defeated San Gabriel in three games Friday in a Southern Section 3-A Division quarterfinal volleyball match at San Gabriel.
The scores were 15-6, 15-11, 15-11.
Royal improved to 18-1 and San Gabriel finished the year at 17-4.
Royal will meet Long Beach Poly in next week’s semifinals. Long Beach Poly defeated Esperanza in four games Friday.
