SIMI VALLEY : Gunman Ties Up 2, Robs Restaurant

A ski-masked man robbed a Simi Valley restaurant early Sunday and escaped with several thousand dollars, police said.
A police spokesman said the holdup occurred about 2:20 a.m. at Reuben’s Restaurant on Sycamore Drive. The robber, armed with a handgun, forced two male employees into the manager’s office, tied them up and fled with the cash receipts, the spokesman said.
Neither employee was hurt.
