FOREIGN AFFAIRS: Nicaragua’s vice president will “mix and mingle” tonight with 200 Republican party faithful at the Santa Ana Heights home of Buck and Colleen Johns. . . . Dr. Virgilio Godoy Reyes visited the county last year and “had a very successful fund-raising effort in (developer) Buck Johns’ office,” said GOP leader Greg Haskin. . . . The county’s Republican brass recently collected $20,000 worth of paint to spruce up the shabbiest Managua buildings and is trying to round up musical instruments for a local youth band.
