Motorcyclist, 58 Dies After Crash

A 58-year-old motorcyclist was fatally injured when he lost control of his motorcycle in Angeles National Forest near Lancaster Sunday evening, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The unidentified man was airlifted to Huntington Memorial Hospital, where he died.
The man was riding north on Angeles Crest Highway near mile post marker 71 when “he lost control of his motorcycle and skidded out of control,” CHP spokeswoman Theresa Simmons said.
The name of the victim was withheld until relatives could be notified.
